My Easy Anti-Aging Steps

· Lifestyle Team
Fine lines can make me look more tired than I actually feel, so I prefer keeping my routine practical rather than piling on too many products.
Two creams that caught my attention are La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5+ and A313 Cream. They have very different roles, which makes the combination interesting for a simple evening routine.
1. La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5+
La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5+ is the comforting step in my routine. It’s a rich balm designed to support the skin barrier, with ingredients including panthenol and madecassoside. I like keeping this one for nights when my skin feels dry or stressed from using several skincare products. A thin layer over my usual serum helps seal everything in and leaves my skin feeling protected and moisturized by bedtime.
2. A313 Cream
A313 Cream is the more treatment-focused product in this pair. It contains vitamin A derivative retinyl palmitate, which makes it the product I’d pay more attention to when my main goal is maintaining smoother-looking skin. I wouldn’t start by applying a thick layer. A small amount spread gently over clean, completely dry skin is plenty, and I’d introduce it gradually rather than using it every night from day one. Since vitamin A products can make skin more sensitive, sunscreen during the daytime is an important part of the routine too.
The two products aren’t doing exactly the same job, and that’s what makes this pairing useful. A313 brings the vitamin A step, while Cicaplast Baume B5+ gives my routine a barrier-supporting finish. For me, a good anti-aging routine doesn’t need ten different bottles—it needs consistent care and products that each have a reason for being there.
